Durock Brand Cement Board with EdgeGuard offers enhanced edge durability to prevent spinout and crumbling. This mold-resistant cement board is an excellent tile backer for baths, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other areas in both new construction and remodeling. It installs easily over wood or steel framing spaced 16 inches on center using corrosion resistant screws or hot-dipped galvanized roofing nails. Once the joints are treated, wall or floor tile can be applied using latex fortified mortar or Type I organic adhesive.
